last year was a great run, but just wait!
Join us for the fourteenth annual "Run Through the Canyon"
and enjoy the
poker run, barbeque, music, raffles and fun!
This event is open to ALL
CLASSIC CARS.
"Join Us " for a great day of family fun.The poker run will take us down HW-1 for a spectacular ocean
view cruise.
Launch time for the first group of cars will be at10:00am
with registration opening at 8:30am.
NEARLY $1,000 in cash and prizes so far.
July
31st is the date for a great day of family fun. We will start the
Run in Los Gatos at the Moore GMC dealership. Registration will
begin at 8:30 am along with donuts and coffee to get us primed for
a day with our classics. Poker Stop #1 is in Santa Cruz, no not
the boardwalk, but a visit to an aquarium and marine biology center,
The Seymour Center at Long Marine Lab, where the price of admission
is included in your ticket. This is a research Lab and should be
fun for any kids who come along on our journey. Next our trip takes
us to Highway One for Poker Stop #2, the seaside town of Davenport.
It is a quaint little town with several shops for all you arts and
crafts lovers. Moving along, our third Poker Stop is the Pidgeon
Point Lighthouse, a historic landmark with a beautiful view overlooking
the Pacific Ocean. The Lighhouse has been guiding ships since 1872
and should provide a perfect Kodak moment of your classic along
with the lighthouse and the ocean in the background. The fourth
Poker Stop is another little town, the town of Pescedero, just off
highway one. It’s another chance to go retailing for the Ladies
with cute little boutiques and shops to get lost in. You may remember
this charming little town from past Run's. Our last Poker Stop,
but certainly not least, is Cameron’s Inn in Half Moon Bay.
Complete with an Old English style bus, this English Pub has lots
of character and great atmosphere. Adjacent to the Pub is a nice
picnic area for plenty of good food provided by Cameron’s cooking
staff. We'll also have great tunes from the 60s and 70s and, so
far, over $1000 in raffle prizes. You don’t want to miss this one.
Registration charge includes: The Cruise, One Poker Run score sheet, One Raffle
Ticket, BBQ Lunch provided by Cameron’s
cooking staff and admission to the Aquarium
and Marine Biology Center.Additional guests and family members are welcome but there
is a additional charge to cover the cost of their meal.Each participant car will be given run directions and

car finishing with the highest poker hand wins a $100 cash prize.
