March 29,30, 2008 - Good Guys All American Get-Together car show and swap meet in Pleasanton
This is a two day event. For Saturday only, meet at the Coffee shop (next to Rings) across from the fair grounds at 6:45am. We will leave at 7:00am sharp and cruise in together. Try to pre-register ($25.00) Any questions contact Mike at mikec44212@aol.com or call 650-238-7035

April 12, 2008 - Club meeting and cruise to the Morgan Hill Brew Pub for lunch. This is about a thirty minute cruise down 85 to101 south. We will take the Cochran Rd. exit and continue towards down town Morgan Hill. The El Toro Brewing Co. was once a Bank of America, and the old safe has been converted into a cozy dining room. After the bank closed down, the Morgan Hill police department used the bulding for the next ten years until recently. Now its a really cool place to eat. I understand they have the best pizza in town. There is even a game room upstars for the kids and aduilt kids. Come join us for a fun day and a cuise to down town Morgan Hill.

April 27, 2008 - Benicia Classic Car Show - We will meet at Golf Land in Milpitas, 680 & Jacklin at 6:00 am. We will leave at 6:30 sharp and cruise to Benicia.  We will stop at the Starbucks parking lot at the corner of Bernal and Valley in Pleasanton to pick up East Bay and SJ Valley folks, but we will not be waiting.  If you want to meet us at Pleasanton be there by 6:45 as we pass through the parking lot to pick up those who are there. May 4, 2008 -  We are cruising to the Niles Canyon Railroad for an experience of a lifetime. This will be a 90 minute train ride from Sunol to Niles and back. East Bay members will meet at the Starbucks in the Rings center across from the Fairgrounds at 9:15am and leave at 9:30 sharp. South Bay members will meet at the Park and Ride off Northbound 680 at the second Mission Blvd exit at 9:15am and leave at 9:30 sharp. We will arrive at the Sunol station at 10:00am . Train leaves at 10:30am . For directions to the station, go to http://www.ncry.org/map.htm . The cost is a $10.00 donation for adults, $5.00 for kids. May 10, 2008 - Club meeting, Detailing Session and Lunch on the Club. Back by popular demand, Manuel from Manuel's Mobile Auto Detailing will give a presentation on detailing your classic. Everything you'd want to know from Clay Bar to shinning the tires. Plus, one lucky member will win a complete auto detailing after the meeting. Come join us for a fun day of hanging out in the parking lot, kicking tires and having a good time. Oh ya, don't forget the free lunch catered by L & L Hawiian BBQ. See you on Saturday!!

May 17, 2008 - Cruise to San Juan Bautista. 
East Bay members meet at the Rings Restaurants in Pleasanton across from the Pleasanton fair grounds at 8:45am;  leave at 9:00am sharp to hook up with the South Bay members in Morgan Hill. Go South on 680 then take 101 South to the Cochrane exit in Morgan Hill.
We will meet in the Mervyn's parking lot to the left. Any problems call Mike Crusco at 650-238-7035
South Bay members will meet in the Mervyn's parking lot at 101 & Cochrane Road at 9:30 am. We will leave at 10:00 am sharp and cruise 101 south to San Juan Bautista where we will have reserved parking waiting for us, here we can safely show our classics and enjoy the towns many historical attractions. We have lunch reservations at one of the towns fine Mexican restaurants. May 31, 2008 - Good Guys Summer Get together car show and swap meet - This is not a club organized event. However please feel free to make arangements with other members to attend.

June 7, 2008 - Cruise to Phil and Linda's house in Montera. If you have never been there. You'll want to check this out. Here are the details. We will meet at Sunnyvale Chevrolet at 10:00am in the back parking lot as we do for our monthly meeting. We will leave at 10:45am sharp. It's about a 30 to 40 minute ride up 280 then 92 through Woodside to Montera. There will be plenty of parking at Phil house. We will get an opportunity to check out Phil and Linds's house and their collection of cars. Both Phil and Linda are both very much into Chevelles and other cars as well. I guarantee, you will not be disappointed. Please pack a lunch to bring along with you. Phil will have the BBQ ready if you want to throw something on the grill. Also bring a side or desert to share.

June 14, 2008 - Club meeting and cruise to the SAE Motorfest Car Show for lunch. For anyone interested, after the club meeting, we will cruise over to the SAE Motorfest Car Show for lunch.

June 21, 2008 - Chevelle & ElCamino Night at the Drive-In Movies - Capital Drive-In - 3630 Hillcap Ave San Jose, CA 95136 (408) 226-2251 - This is a "Bring your Hot Rod" event. We will meet in the parking lot just outside the pay booth at 7:00pm and drive in together as soon as the gates open. Grab a togo's sandwich or a bucket of chicken and something to share. We will eat inside the drive-in. Bring a folding chair and a jacket, we will be sitting outside next to our cars (weather permitting). July 12, 2008 - Cruise and Annual Club Picnic at Byington Winery. (No meeting will be held at Sunnyvale Chevrolet)
This event has turned into a club favorite tradition. As always, there will be wine tasting then we will be treated to a first class tour of the winery and vineyards. Since this is the annual club picnic event, the club will provide the meat and drinks and all the necessary eating supplies. The Club will also cover the cost of the wine tasting and tour. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share with the group. Club members and immediate family only at this event, please! Michael and Cindy Crusco, Coordinators. For the North bay folks, they should meet in front of the Starbuck's across from the Pleasanton fair grounds at 9:45 am and leave at 10:00 am sharp for Los Gatos. South bay folks, they should meet in the Ace Hardware Store parking lot in Los Gatos at 10:30 am at 15300 Las Gatos Blvd. Take HW-17 South to the Lark Ave exit. Turn left on Lark and right on Las Gatos Blvd. Ace Hardware is on the left. We will wait for the North Bay folks to arrive then we will leave at 11:00 am sharp and all cruise together to Byington Winery. July 27, 2008 - Chevelle's & ElCamino's On The Wharf in Santa Cruz - Meet at the Ace Hardware Store in Los Gatos off Lark Ave. at 7:30 am. We will leave at 8:00 am sharp and cruise over the hill to Santa Cruz - This is a family event so grab the wife and kids and pack the classic for a great day at the wharf and boardwalk. We will have breakfest on the wharf, then later when the boardwalk opens we will walk over for some rides, games and really fun kids stuff. Don't forget to bring your hat and some sun block.

August 16, 2008 - Hot August Niles car Show. This is a very popular show and registration will fill fast. If you are planning on attending, it would be wise to pre-register. September 13, 2008 - Club meeting with special guest speaker, Car Weigh-in and cruise to Lunch. Club Member Ron Vinsant has volunteered to bring in some fancy equipment to weigh our cars. Did you even wonder exactly how much your car weighed? This equipment is accurate to a fraction of a pound. Come join us for a fun day of hanging out in the parking lot, kicking tires and having a good time, afterwards we will cruise to a local Restaurant for lunch.

November 22, 2008 - Classic Chevy's Club Toy Drive And Car Show
This event is held at Bethel Church in San Jose. Meet at the Elephant Bar Restaurant at Highway 17 and Hamilton Ave at 7:30 am.  The Elephant Bar is located where the old Brueners store was.  Turn right on Hamilton off south bound 17.  It's right next to the exit.  We will leave at 8:00 am sharp.  This is a great event and fun for all.  We will be attending the pancake breakfast at the show.  Admission is one unwrapped gift and a canned or packaged food product.  How can you not go?
